This course is the entry point to become a licensed Solar technician or Solar products vendor. Participants receive comprehensive know-how for photovoltaics, hands-on training with technical components, designing optimized PV stand-alone systems to apply for a T2 license from the Energy Regulatory Commission.
Requirements
-KCPE, electrical government trade test 2 and basic Solar training KCSE
-Certificate in electrical or electronic and intermediate Solar training or KCSE
-Diploma in electrical or electronic and intermediate Solar training
-Bsc electrical engineering or relevant degree or higher national diploma
-Good command of MS Word, MS Excel and internet browsing
Target Group
The course is open but not limited to energy system designers, engineers, installers, project developers, vocational instructors, Vendors, O&M technicians, solar companies.

Five days of full-time lecturer- student contact and 15 days eLearning (eLearning services available after payment for the course).
